Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr has put his 1,015 sq. ft Lower East Side apartment up for rent and it can be yours for a mere $6,750 a month. AHJ bought the condo, located at 354 Broome (between Bowery & Elizabeth), back in 2012 for $1.25 million and Variety reports he’s put it up for rental a few times since. This one-bedroom, two-bath apartment is a “custom space” with a built-in B&W two-zone sound system that “encourages entertaining” (There are not a lot of one-bedroom apartments where, during a party, you whisper “meet me in the bathroom” to someone and they need to ask “which bathroom?”).
