Restorations

Restorations announce new LP on Tiny Engines, going on a cruise w/ Dave Hause

Restorations

Restorations road-tested their new album on tour earlier this year, and now it’s finally announced. It follows their 2011 self-titled album, 2013’s LP2, and 2014’s LP3, but they’re skipping LP4 and jumping straight to LP5000 as the title of this one. It comes out in September via Tiny Engines, who also put out the band’s debut (the following two albums were on SideOneDummy, who laid off most of their staff and parted ways with many of their bands earlier this year).

They recorded the new album with Jon Low, who also did their last two albums, and their new bio (by Matt Cohen) promises that “LP5000 is everything that fans have come to love about Restorations: Anthemic heartland rock-and-roll replete with mile-wide riffs, psychedelic chooglin’, and too many guitars.” Stay tuned for music from the album. Meanwhile, check out the artwork above and the tracklist below.

Restorations have a few upcoming shows, including their previously mentioned dates in Boston with Frank Turner and Jeff Rosenstock and Jersey City with Tim Barry and Roger Harvey. They since added a NYC show with Dave Hause happening the day before the Jersey City show: a Rocks Off Cruise (6/29) aboard The Cosmo that departs from the Skyport Marina – East 23rd Street & FDR Drive. Doors are at 6 PM. Tickets are on sale. All dates are listed below.
