Riot Fest 2017 lineup: NIN, QOTSA, New Order, Paramore, MIA, Wu-Tang, TVOTR, more
In addition to a Jawbreaker reunion, the 2017 Riot Fest Chicago lineup also includes Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, New Order, Paramore (who just announced a new album), Prophets of Rage, M.I.A., Wu-Tang Clan, Mike D (of Beastie Boys) DJ set, Gogol Bordello, Taking Back Sunday, Vic Mensa, TV on the Radio, Ministry, Dinosaur Jr, Bad Brains, Death From Above 1979, Action Bronson, Built to Spill, X, Peaches, The Lawrence Arms, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Say Anything, Dead Cross (members of Slayer, Faith No More, and The Locust), Minus the Bear, The Menzingers, Liars, GWAR, Buzzcocks, GBH, Hot Water Music, Shabazz Palaces, Andrew WK, Fishbone, Beach Slang, The Cribs, that dog., The Hotelier, Saul Williams, Alice Bag, Downtown Boys, and more, plus over 25 more acts TBA. What a lineup!
UPDATE: Dinosaur Jr, Built to Spill, that dog., The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Fishbone, The Lawrence Arms and more are playing classic albums in full at the fest.
Riot Fest Chicago happens September 15-17, and tickets go on sale today (4/19) at noon Central.
Chicago is the only Riot Fest happening this year, no Denver.
Nine Inch Nails are playing a few other festivals this year, including NYC's Panorama. Queens of the Stone Age have slowly been announcing tour dates and recently confirmed a new album. New Order just played Radio City and Coachella. that dog. first reunited in 2011/2012 and they're back at it with more shows and their first album in two decades.
