Set times have been announced for Riot Fest 2018, which goes down at Chicago's Douglas Par this weekend (9/14-9/16), and as always, that means some tough conflicts.
On Friday, Weezer's headlining set partially overlaps with Dropkick Murphys and Cypress Hill (playing Black Sunday in full). There's also some overlap between Taking Back Sunday and Face To Face; between Matt & Kim, Flogging Molly, and Digable Planets (playing Reachin'); between Sum 41 and The Front Bottoms; between Liz Phair and Lagwagon (playing Let's Talk About Feelings); and more.
On Saturday, Beck's headlining set is up against Andrew WK. You also have to choose between Interpol, The Jesus Lizard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and GWAR right before that. Other conflicts include Elvis Costello vs Killing Joke vs The Voidz; Gary Numan vs Bully; HEALTH vs Mannequin Pussy vs Piebald; and more.
On Sunday, the only thing Run the Jewels overlaps with is the last half hour of Bad Religion (who are playing Suffer in full), so you could definitely see most of both of those sets. Bad Religion also overlaps just a bit with the tail end of Father John Misty and Incubus, who play against each other. You also have to choose between Alkaline Trio and The Wonder Years, and this very tough one: Blondie vs Superchunk vs Dillinger Four. When crossover thrash vets Suicidal Tendencies play their debut in full, they'll be up against The Bouncing Souls and Clutch. You also have to choose between Calpurnia (the band of Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things) and Beach Rats (the supergroup with members of Lifetime, Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty, Minor Threat, and more).
