Rob Crow and Cattle Decapitation singer release "Anal Trump" grindcore album
The protests and outcry to the election of Donald Trump continue. Musical polymath Rob Crow (of Pinback and Goblin Cock) is throwing his hat in the ring with a new album that’s hilarious and disturbing in equal measure (as it should be). Joined by Cattle Decapitation‘s Travis Ryan, he has unveiled a new grindcore band called Anal Trump, which is exactly what it sounds like. They take the famously offensive song titles of Anal Cunt and the famously offensive quotes of Donald Trump and turn it into a politically relevant offensive sandwich.
They’ve shared a full “album” called That Makes Me Smart!. The longest track here clocks in at 18 seconds (“Some Things Saddam Hussein Did Well”), and the song titles don’t have to veer too much from things that Trump actually said to read as horrifying satire. “My Daughter is a Piece of Ass,” “I Like the Soldiers Who DON’T Get Captured,” and “Blood Coming Out of Her Wherever” are some of the titles, alongside non-direct quotes like “Dave Mustaine is Cool,” “Ted Nugent is Cool” and “Alex Jones is Smart.” You can listen to the whole thing and get angry if you want (it’ll only take a couple minutes), or you can just read the tracklist, both of which are below.
