Rob Crow's Gloomy Place played Knitting Factory with Palm & Heliotropes (pics)

Pinback’s Rob Crow brought his Rob Crow’s Gloomy Place tour to NYC for a show at Knitting Factory on 3/10. You may remember Rob was going to quit music but that didn’t really last, having just released a great new album. Pictures, including one of his setlist, are in this post.
Palm, who are on tour with Crow, opened with a set of skronky, mathy indie rock that has gotten comparisons to Animal Collective (they’re also a little like fka Viet Cong). They’ll be at SXSW and then on tour with Warehouse and Gnarwhal.
