Robyn at Madison Square Garden

Robyn destroyed MSG (pics, video, setlist)

Long overdue, Robyn proved she was the giant star she was always meant to be at her first-ever headlining show at Madison Square Garden (or any U.S. arena) in NYC Friday night (3/8). Playing to an undeniably sold out and enthusiastic (and very cool looking!) crowd, the Swedish singer ran through and danced to a career-spanning 19 songs (and one costume change) in two hours before the party continued on the train platform.

Check out photos from the show in the gallery above. Setlist below.

The entire place was on their feet all night long, cheering and singing along. Every song she played off new-album Honey was a major highlight, as was 2005 addiction “Be Mine!” (that we got twice at her first-ever U.S. show in 2008), but nothing got people screaming like 2010 hit “Dancing On My Own” from Body Talk Pt. 1. Watch:

Kindness opened the show with a DJ set, Robyn opened her set with the Kindness-produced “Send to Robin Immediately,” and she closed the show with what felt like a weird choice, the song she did in 2014 with Kindness — right after thanking him and other opener Channel Tres — called “Who Do You Love?” One day before the show, Kindness put out yet another song with Robyn. The show closed with Robyn, and then her backup singers and dancers and band all leaving the stage one by one.

More tour dates HERE (she was also just announced as a headliner of this summer’s Pitchfork fest). More videos and the setlist from the absolutely killer NYC show, below:
