Having had his career, out of the blue, resuscitated after some 30 years in relative obscurity by Oscar-winning 2012 documentary Searching for Sugar Man, Sixto Rodriguez has stayed in the spotlight since. His current tour brought him to the The Concert Hall at the NY Society for Ethical Culture on Saturday (4/7). Solo and without a setlist, Rodgrigez played an off-the-cuff set featuring well-known favorites and covers like "Happy Days Are Here Again" and "Somebody to Love." He also talked a little politics, said he supported the students on gun legislation, and closed with night with a raised fist and "Power to the People."

He's also got European shows lined up, not to mention two nights at London's Royal Albert Hall in September. Tour dates are listed below.
