Roger Waters shares cover of Victor Jara's "The Right to Live in Peace"

Roger Waters, who postponed his North American tour to next year due to COVID-19, has shared a cover of Chilean musician/activist Victor Jara “El Derecho De Vivir En Paz,” which translates to “The Right to Live in Peace.” Waters has never been one to shy away from politics and this song features lines like “You can shoot out the eyes of the children / You were always that fucking insane / But you’ll never snuff out the flame.” Roger says “This is for the people of Santiago and Quito and Jaffa and Rio and La Paz and New York and Baghdad and Budapest and everywhere else the man means us harm.
