Rogue Wave

Rogue Wave reissuing & touring 'Asleep at Heaven's Gate,' share bonus track

In addition to helping Nada Surf celebrate the 15th anniversary of Let Go by contributing to a full covers album of that LP, Rogue Wave are celebrating an album anniversary of their own this year. Their third album, Asleep at Heaven’s Gate (which Nada Surf frontman Matthew Caws sings on), turned 10 this past September, and in honor of that, Rogue Wave are giving the album a remastered reissue on March 16 via Slow Down Sounds (pre-order) with new artwork and four rare or unreleased tracks from the recording sessions. Those songs include “Electro-Socket Blues” (which ended up on the Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist soundtrack), “I Can Die” (which was the b-side to the “Lake Michigan” single in Europe), a cover of The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love,” and the previously-unreleased “The Show.” You can listen to “The Show” and view the full tracklist below. That’s the new artwork above. Rogue Wave will also perform the album in full on a spring tour, along with other songs from their career.

The tour includes NYC shows on March 28 at Bowery Ballroom and March 29 at Baby’s All Right. Tickets for those shows are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
