Róisín Murphy has just announced dates for her first-ever solo North American tour. (She toured with Moloko a few times.) It includes a stop in Brooklyn on November 4 (venue TBA) which will be her first NYC show in eight years. (She played CMJ in 2008 which was her U.S. solo debut.) Tickets to all North American shows except the Brooklyn one go on sale Friday, August 5. Stay tuned for details on the Brooklyn show. All dates are listed below.

UPDATE: Roisin's NYC show happens at Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 4 and is part of the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival. Tickets are on sale now.

If you haven't heard it, Róisín Murphy's new album Take Her Up to Monto is pretty great, more of her sophisticated, off-kilter brand of dance pop. You can stream the whole thing below.
