Rolling Stone's top 100 albums & songs of the 2010s

Best of the Decade Season continues with Rolling Stone, who published their lists of the 100 best albums and 100 best songs of the 2010s. It’s Rolling Stone, so there are a few classic rock inclusions you won’t find on your average 2010s list (like Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon all the way up at #18 on the albums list, The Monkees [???], and of course plenty of U2 and Bruce Springsteen), but for the most part the Rolling Stone lists are pretty great. The album list has a very agreeable (but obvious) top three, and there are also some less obvious (and cool) things like Parquet Courts cracking the top 20s of both lists. One glaring omission: no “Midnight City”?!?!

See both lists below and read commentary on each pick here and here.
