New Brunswick's ROMP recently released their debut album Departure From Venus (Bad Timing Records), which is full of tuneful, lyrical indie-pop punk. We recently met up with the band at an arcade in Philly to film singer/keyboardist Madison Klarer and guitarist Lucas Dalakian playing a stripped-down version of "Come Undone" for the latest BrooklynVegan Acoustic Session. (Technically the keyboard isn't acoustic, but we let it slide.) They performed it right next to an air hockey table, and sounded great doing so. Watch:

The video was filmed by Ashley Gellman, Shawna Smith and Daniel Siper, and edited by Daniel. Ian Hunter recorded the sound.

If you missed them, previously BrooklynVegan Acoustic Sessions include Pinegrove and Abi Reimold. All sessions so far were actually co-produced with the help of Madison from ROMP whose band we already liked before we met her, but who now also helps us with video projects on the side.

ROMP have some shows coming up, including two in their hometown of New Brunswick.
