Roosevelt
still from "Losing Touch" video

Roosevelt is a literal one man band in his new video (watch); tour starts tonight

Electronic pop musician Roosevelt recently released his sophomore album Young Romance on City Slang/Greco Roman, and he’s about to begin a tour supporting it with a two-night stand at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight (12/3) and Tuesday (12/4). Tickets for night one are still on sale but night two is sold out. All dates — including stops in Philly, DC, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, LA, and more — are listed below.

Ahead of the tour, we’re premiering the new video for Roosevelt’s super catchy “Losing Touch.” It’s (sort of) a live performance video, which features Roosevelt (aka Marius Lauber) himself as a literal “one man band,” with clones of him on each instrument. Director Luke Bather explains: “I wanted the video to echo the song’s ideas of being on tour & away from your friends and family – only really having yourself for company. It can be a fun, rich, colorful and theatrical experience, but a lot of strange anxieties show up along the way. It was great to collaborate with Marius, Marius, Marius and Marius on this one – they’re all really very talented.” Watch below.
