Rory Scovel has a new Netflix special, touring this fall

Rory Scovel‘s absurdist, confrontational style has made for memorable talk show appearances, and the same holds true for his new Netflix special, Rory Scovel Tries Stand-Up for the First Time. Don’t let the title throw you: he’s been doing stand-up since 2003, and the new special takes a left turn midway through into a version of his own talk show, complete with guest Jack White. You can watch the trailer for it, plus a few other standup bits, below.

You can catch Rory on tour this fall, including NYC stops at Gramercy Theatre on December 2 and The Bell House on December 3. Tickets for Gramercy Theatre are on Citi cardmember presale now and go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 11 at 1 PM; tickets to The Bell House go on sale Friday at 10 AM.
