Rosemary's Greenpoint Tavern's decorations, signs and more being auctioned off

Williamsburg drinking institution Rosemary’s Greenpoint Tavern closed at the end of February after some 60 years in business. Bedford & Bowery notes that all the stuff from the bar, and everything from the building (including Rosemary’s apartment above it), is being auctioned off this weekend in an estate sale. (Redsky Capital now owns the building and the adjacent buildings.) As you can see in pictures of some of the offerings online, they really mean everything: the booths, the holiday decorations, the glassware and, yes, neon signs. (Through whether the actual Rosemary’s sign, seen above, is part of that is unclear.) The auction happens Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31, from 10 AM to 4 PM and more information, and pictures of many of the items up for bid, are here.

Meanwhile, this is the last week for Greenpoint bar/restaurant Enid’s whose final night is Saturday (3/30).
