Rough Trade celebrating 40th anniversary w/ collab shows (Angel Olsen / Raincoats, Protomartyr / Pop Group, more)

Rough Trade record shops are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year and will be throwing very special celebratory concerts featuring some unique collaborations. So far they’re all in London (stay tuned for NYC) but are all very cool, starting with an October 22 show at The Barbican featuring John Grant with Wrangler (ft. Stephen Malinder of Cabaret Voltaire), Scritti Politti with Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, and The Pop Group with Protomartyr. Then on November 3 at Islington Assembly Hall, Angel Olsen will do a collaborative performance with The Raincoats.
