Brooklyn band Roya, which features Habibi singer Rahill Jamilifard as well as members of Grooms, Golden Triangle and more, released their debut album last week via Burger Records. Taking cues from early '60s rock, surf and pop, as well as minimal '80s indie, the album has no shortage of hooky songs. You can stream the whole album below.

Roya will celebrate the release of the LP with a show at Brooklyn Bazaar on Friday, June 16 with Breanna Barbara, Scully, and Blush. Tickets are on sale. They've got a couple other NYC shows on the horizon: July 11 at Union Pool (which is a benefit for the Jackson's Health Organization (details TBA); and August 17 at Baby's All Right which is the first show of The Nude Party's residency (tickets).
