Norwegian “electro super duo” Röyksopp have announced some March 2011 shows including 2 in Canada and three on the east coast including March 21st at Webster Hall in NYC. Vocalist Anneli Drecker and guitarists Kato Adland and Ole Vegard Skauge will all be part of their touring band. “More dates to be announced.” No tickets yet.

Their new album Senior, the followup to Junior, “is officially available online and in stores on November 23rd.” Six of the songs from that album were intergrated into a short film called “Senior Living” which you can watch below.

Unline Senior, Junior was more of a guest-filled album. If you haven’t heard it and don’t remember, vocalists with familiar names like Robyn, Lykke Li, and Karin Dreijer Andersson can all be heard on the 2009 album.

And speaking of those ladies:

Robyn is headlining Radio City Music Hall in 2011 and tickets went on sale today.

Lykke Li is touring and headlining Webster Hall in 2011 and tickets went on sale today.

Karin Dreijer Andersson is also known as Fever Ray and one half The Knife who announced a new single today…

The Knife, in collaboration with Mt.Sims and Planningtorock are set to release ‘Seeds’, with remixes by Bodycode and Shinedoe, on 19th November (Beatport) / 6th December (full release).

Taken from the album ‘Tomorrow, In A Year’, ‘Seeds’ is a delicate but driving techno pop track and features vocals by Swedish pop star Jonathan Johansson and Danish mezzo soprano Kristina Wahlin. Since the album’s release earlier this year, ‘Seeds’ has already made waves in the dance world, and has become one of The Knife’s top selling tracks on Beatport.

The remixers – Ghostly International’s Berlin-dwelling South African deep house producer Bodycode, and the Dutch head of Intacto Records, Shinedoe – were selected by Olof Dreijer: “I just really like their music – a very nice mix of melodic and moving dance music. I’ve been spinning their music over the last few years and most often it brings a smile to people’s faces and makes people dance a little more.”
Bodycode has injected some Berlin deep-house warmth, stretching the track to 12 minutes, while Shinedoe has turned the original’s sparse instrumentation into a layered, big-room tech-house track.
