Rufus Wainwright expands tour with intimate NYC shows
Rufus Wainwright has added two intimate, solo shows in NYC to his ongoing 2019 tour. “Oh Solo Wainwright: An Evening with Rufus” happens at City Winery on May 29 and 30. Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 21, and City Winery “vinofile” members can get tickets early starting Tuesday, February 19.
Rufus has also been celebrating the 20th anniversary of his career on the “All These Poses” tour, playing songs from his first two albums, 1998’s Rufus Wainwright and 2001’s Poses. After taking the tour through North American in November and December of 2018, he continues it in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, The UK and elsewhere through May of 2019.
