Chicago post-metal greats Russian Circles have announced a a new album called Guidance and a tour behind it. The album was recorded by Kurt Ballou, and hits on August 5 via Sargent house. They've shared a trailer for Guidance, featuring a snippet of new music, and it sounds as huge, dramatic, and dark as ever for these guys. Check that out below.

They'll hit the road for extensive North American dates starting in late August. The first leg of the tour features support from Cloakroom, while the second will find them joined by Helms Alee.

The run with Helms Alee hits NYC for a show at Warsaw on September 30. Tickets for that are not yet on sale, but they should be available soon via ticketweb.
