RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan is suing NYC dog-walking service Woof Tang Clan over their name. NY Daily News reports that Woof Tang Clan filled out a trademark application on June 8, and that RZA’s court papers say it is “a violation of the multiple registrations already owned by the Wu-Tang Clan.”

Woof Tang Clan owner Marty Cuatchon declined to comment to NY Daily News until seeking legal advice, but he did say, “I am a fan. We walk dogs. I thought it was a good idea.” Woof Tang clan also sells shirts, including a dog-themed riff on Wu-Tang member Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s debut solo album, and one that riffs on another NYC rap group, De La Soul.

NY Daily News also points out that there’s an Alaskan dog sled team named the Woof-Tang Clan.
