Sadgiqacea released 'False Prism' (stream it), Woe to guest on IO special on East Village Radio tonight

Sadgiqacea

Say it with me, Sadgiqacea. OK, i’ll be the first to admit that “sad-juh-kay-sha” isn’t the most easily read name in heavy music, but for every ounce of irritation that their name causes, they make up for it in riffs. The Philadelphia duo have released their new LP False Prism today via Candlelight, and you can stream it in full below or via InvisibleOranges. The duo’s primary MO is in the realm of epic sludge-doom, but look for post-rock, Neurosis-y riffage and black metal to dot the landscape along the way.

In related news, Woe-honcho Chris Grigg sat in to help produce the new Sadgiqacea effort, and he will be a special guest on the InvisibleOranges special airing on East VIllage Radio tonight (5/7) at 6PM EDT. And don’t forget that Woe plays Acheron on Friday (5/10) with guests Mutilation Rites and Mortals (tickets), part of a larger tour for the band.
