Saint Etienne announce 'Good Humor' 20th anniversary tour
Saint Etienne‘s 1998 album Good Humor found them setting aside their samplers and drum machines and decamping to Sweden to work with Cardigans producer Tore Johansson and crack session players. The result was a lush, loungey record unlike any they’d made before or since. You can stream it below. Bob, Pete and Sarah will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of that great album on tour, playing it in full plus a second set of other favorites.
Good Humor remains their best-selling record in North American so they’re bringing the tour here including two NYC shows: Bowery Ballroom on September 5 and Warsaw on September 6. Tickets for Bowery and Warsaw go on sale Friday, June 8 at noon and 10 AM respectively, with a Citi cardmember presale for Bowery that’s happening now.
