Legendary doom outfit Saint Vitus are on the road with The Skull and Witch Mountain, and this week they come through NYC for two shows at their namesake venue. They play Saint Vitus TONIGHT (10/4) as well as Friday, October 7. Tickets for tonight's show are on sale, while Friday is sold out.

Usual Saint Vitus vocalist Scott “Wino” Weinrich is currently busy with The Obsessed reunion, the band have recruited original vocalist Scott Reagers, who sang on the first two Vitus albums (and 1995’s Die Healing). Scott reunited with the band for a US show and European tour last year, which were his first shows with the band since 1995. So, while some might be disappointed that they won’t get to see Wino, this is definitely a cool treat for fans of the first two Vitus albums.

Saint Vitus also just released a new live album, Live Vol. 2, taken from a tour back in 2013. You can listen to a track from that, listen to Saint Vitus' debut album, check out video of Scott Reagers singing the classic "Born Too Late" with the band at their first show together in Austin last year, and check out remaining tour dates, below.
