Sannhet celebrated 'So Numb' in a church (pics), opening for Baroness in Sept

Brooklyn post-rockers Sannhet released their first album for Profound Lore, So Numb, today (8/25). The album is as climactic as Sannhet ever were, and the band is even more intense in a live setting, as witnessed at their release show at The Park Church Co-Op last night. A church is a great place to see them, and openers Miserable and Planning for Burial sweetened the deal even more. More pictures of last night’s show are coming very soon in the gallery above.. You can stream the new album below.

Now that last night’s NYC show is behind them, Sannhet have added another. They’ll be opening the suicide prevention benefit that Baroness are playing on September 10 at Brooklyn Bazaar. The show is presented by Revolver Mag and proceeds go to Hope For The Day. The show will also include an art show curated by Baroness’ John Baizley. Tickets are still available.

Sannhet also have shows with This Will Destroy You, including Kingston, NY; Hamden, CT; and Teaneck, NJ. All dates are listed below.

As for Planning for Burial, he opens Have A Nice Life’s first Philly and Brooklyn shows in 7 years this September.
