Saturday Night Seder

Sarah Silverman, Ilana Glazer, Nick Kroll, Henry Winkler & more to stream "Saturday Night Seder"

For the fourth night of Passover on April 11, Fran Drescher, Billy Eichner, Eliot & Ilana Glazer, Nick Kroll, Julie Klausner, Dan Levy, Bette Midler, Debra Messing, Isaac Mizrahi, Busy Phillips, Billy Porter, Sarah Silverman, Senator Chuck Schumer, Henry Winkler, Finn Wolfhard and many more are joining together (virtually) for “Saturday Night Seder,” a celebration “through music and comedy” hosted by Jason Alexander. It streams on the Saturday Night Seder website and YouTube at 8 PM ET, and they’ll be collecting donations for CDC Foundation’s Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund.

Expect to see Idina Menzel and Finn Wolfhard do the Four Questions, Billy Porter sing “Go Down Moses,” Henry Winkler narrate the Moses story, and more. New York Times shared a preview of an original musical number that Jason Alexander will sing:

So you’re stressed by all the stories that you’ve seen on cable news? Well, it’s time to trade the cable for a tableful of Jews. While this night is always different from every other night, there is a smidgen of religion though we’re keeping that part light. Tonight is stranger than a normal Pesach meal, ’cause we’re locked in our apartment and the plagues are [expletive] real.
