Boston Calling isn’t the only music festival happening this Memorial Day weekend. Over on the west coast, Sasquatch Festival started yesterday (5/26) with sets from LCD Soundsystem (who replaced Frank Ocean on the lineup “due to production delays beyond his control.”), Kaytranada, Bonobo, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, Sleigh Bells, The Head and The Heart, Big Freedia, Thee Oh Sees, The Hotelier, comedian Sasheer Zamata (who has left SNL but has shows coming up), and more. Check out pictures from Friday at Sasquatch in the gallery above.
LCD Soundsystem announced during their set that their long awaited new album is “finally done” and that they’d “knocked it out of the park with this one.” They go on to play sets at Forecastle and Pitchfork Festival later this summer.
