Speaking of comedy festivals in San Francisco, the 16th annual San Francisco Sketchfest happens January 12-29, 2017, featuring over 700 performers across 17 venues. There will be some music, too. Performers include The Kids In The Hall, Bill Irwin & Bill Frisell, Megan Mullally, Susanna Hoffs, Robert Townsend & Keenen Ivory Wayans, Fred Willard, Robert Klein, Tim And Eric, Ricky Jay, Jeff Goldblum, Jon Hamm, Mike Judge, Pamela Adlon, Kathy Najimy, Peter Bogdanovich, John Landis, Grace Helbig, Robyn Hitchcock, Chris Hardwick, Chelsea Peretti, Wyatt Cenac, Tony Hale, and tons more. Tickets go on sale Sunday, November 20 at 10 AM Pacific.

For comedy fans there are some very very cool special events this year. Highlights:
