The 2019 edition of San Francisco's long-running SF Sketchfest goes down January 10 – 27. It's the 18th annual edition and, as always, there are a ton of amazing shows and events happening, including:

  • A “Best In Show” 20th Anniversary Reunion & Screening with Ed Begley, Jr., Jennifer Coolidge, Christopher Guest, John Michael Higgins, Michael Hitchcock, Eugene Levy, Jane Lynch, Michael McKean, Catherine O’Hara and producer Karen Murphy, moderated by Kevin Pollak
  • "Four Kids, One Dumb Night: SF Sketchfest celebrates the 35th Anniversary of The Kids in the Hall" with Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson who will talk about new KITH biography and a screening of their film Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy.
  • A tribute to Carol Burnett with the legend herself in conversation.
  • A tribute to Margaret Cho where she'll be in conversation with Ben Fong Torres.
  • “Crashing” Live with Pete Holmes, Judd Apatow and Madeline Wise who will talk about Pete's HBO series and more.
  • Who’s Laughing Now: An Evening with Bruce Campbell and “Evil Dead II”
  • Big Terrific with Jenny Slate, Gabe Liedman & Max Silvestri
  • A SF Sketchfest edition of "Butterboy" with hosts Jo Firestone and Aparna Nancherla and guests Nore Davis, Donwill, Laurie Kilmartin and Clare O’Kane.
  • A salute to Oscar-nominated animator Bill Plympton
  • The Found Footage Festival are pitted against Everything is Terrible for a night of obscure VHS mayhem
  • Mystery Science Theater 300 alumni The Mads Are Back (Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff) and Rifftrax Live (Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy)
  • “Futurama” Live: Mom’s Revenge! with David X. Cohen, John DiMaggio, David Herman, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Tress MacNeille, Lee Supercinski and Billy West
