Sharon Van Etten playing ALT 92.3 show with Lumineers & more

NYC alt-rock station ALT 92.3 launched in late 2017 (making for NYC’s first alternative rock radio station in six years), threw its inaugural holiday show at Barclays Center this past December, and now it’s throwing its inaugural “ALT 92.3 Summer Open” show at Queens’ Forest Hills Stadium on June 22.

We’re most excited that the lineup includes Sharon Van Etten, whose new album Remind Me Tomorrow is one of our favorite albums of the year so far. She’ll be joined by headliners The Lumineers plus The Revivalists and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Tickets go on sale Friday (3/8) at noon.

Sharon Van Etten also plays one of the first shows at the soon-to-open Webster Hall (sold out) and Asbury Park’s second annual Sea.Hear.Now festival (with Cat Power, Bad Religion, The B-52s, Joan Jett, and more). She’s also in the upcoming second season of The OA.
