Sheck Wes, Japanese Breakfast & Venus X playing NYU Mystery Concert tonight
Labor Day is behind us, school is back in session, and the annual NYU Mystery Concert is tonight (9/4). The lineup has now been revealed, and it's pretty awesome: fast-rising Harlem rapper Sheck Wes, energetic dream popsters Japanese Breakfast, and producer/DJ Venus X. It happens at Le Poisson Rouge, doors are at 7 PM, and admission is FREE on a first come, first served basis. All attendees must have a valid NYU ID to enter. More info here.
Sheck Wes just played Made In America over the weekend, and he's also set to play the Spotify "RapCaviar Live" show in Coney Island on 9/29 with Chance the Rapper and Tierra Whack, before he opens Travis Scott's tour, including the two MSG shows in November.
Japanese Breakfast has other tour dates, including a Philly/Asbury Park New Year's Eve run, and another NYC show at Brooklyn Steel in January.
