Shiner announce tour, streaming song off first album in 19 years

Kansas City atmospheric post-hardcore vets Shiner have reunited for live shows and reissues over the past few years, but they’re only now finally gearing up for new music. They’ll release Schadenfreude, their first album in 19 years, on May 8 via Two Black Eyes (pre-order), and first single “Life As A Mannequin” is very promising stuff. It sounds like classic Shiner, and it also sounds pretty great today, especially with the whole atmospheric post-hardcore thing having such a big comeback. Listen below.

Shiner will support the new album on a spring and summer US tour, including a show at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on May 29 (tickets). All dates are listed below.
