Shonen Knife on tour in support of new stuff (dates)

Now that Shonen Knife have revisited their LPs Free Time and 2007’s fun! fun! fun! to give them the English workover complete with bonus tracks (order them), the Japanese band are about to invade our shores with their overtly cutesy Japanese pop-punk. The tour kicked off 9/8 in Seattle and will bring the band to NYC on 9/25 at The Asia Society (tickets) and 9/28 at Knitting Factory with Hard Nips and Grooms (tickets). All dates below.

If you can’t make it to a show, you can at least pick up the band’s new DVD Live At Mohawk Place. The live video was recorded in Buffalo, NY at Mohawk Place and features 18 songs, including one with original member Atsuko, and exclusive interview footage. Order a copy via the label.
