Show Me The Body Dog Whistle

Show Me The Body announce new album & tour, share "Camp Orchestra"

NYC’s Show Me The Body have announced their new album, Dog Whistle, due March 29 via Loma Vista. The band and their former drummer/current in-house producer Gabriel Millman co-produced it with Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Beach House, etc), and the first single is “Camp Orchestra,” which was inspired by a recent visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. The song is rooted in hardcore, but it’s by no means a traditional execution of the genre. It’s five minutes long and doesn’t even bring in drums until about halfway through. It’s a dark, raw song, and it comes with a well-matched video shot on the streets of New York (directed by rubberband. and Show Me The Body). Check it out below.

Show Me The Body have also announced a lengthy North American tour, including their previously announced hometown show at Brooklyn Bazaar on February 22 with Tripp Jones & Slim Poppins, Dreamcrusher and Twisted Thing (tickets). The tour also hits LA, Albany, NJ, and much more. All dates are listed below.
