Sigur Ros played a warm-up show in England before heading on tour (pics, setlist, dates)

Sigur Ros are about to begin their tour, which will have them playing two sets with no opener, trying out some new material, and performing just as a trio without string or brass sections. (These are their first performances as a trio — keyboardist Kjarri Sveinsson left the band in 2013.) Ahead of that tour, they did a dress rehearsal at Fly By Night Rehearsal Studios in England on May 30, opening with the live debut of new song “Óveður” for an audience of 250. The set also included the first “Starálfur” since 2007, and plenty of other favorites. Check out the setlist below.

The proper tour begins on Saturday (6/4) at Primavera (which just started today). All dates are listed, with a couple more pictures from the show, below.
