Influential Long Island melodic hardcore band Silent Majority initially broke up in 2001, but they're reuniting for shows this year. They recently announced two LI shows, which sold out almost instantly, and now they've added a Brooklyn show too.

The BK show happens on July 2 at Saint Vitus with an all-Long Island lineup of Iron Chic, Primitive Weapons (based in BK but featuring members from the LI scene), and another reunited veteran band, GreenSleep. That's a good bill all around, and you can get tickets for it starting Friday (3/4) at noon. The show is a benefit for the family of former Iron Chic guitarist Rob Mcallister, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Stay tuned for any more dates. Meanwhile, listen to Silent Majority's only full length, 1997's Life Of A Spectator, below.

In related news, Primitive Weapons were added to the upcoming Pallbearer show at Vitus, along with Sannhet. Tickets are available.
