British comedian Simon Amstell released his first book, titled Help, at the end of 2017, according to the inner flap, the book is "the hilarious and heartbreaking account of Simon’s ongoing compulsion to reveal his entire self on stage. To tell the truth so it can’t hurt him any more. Loneliness, anxiety, depression – this book has it all. And more." If his memoir is anything like his great live shows Numb or To Be Free it's bound to be a good as Stephen Fry, Martin Freeman and Russel Brand say it is on the back of the book.

Meanwhile, Simon is set to return to NYC for the first time in three years with his new show "What is This?" which he'll perform at the East Village's Theatre 80 from June 1-30, Tuesdays - Saturdays. Tickets are on sale now. These will be his only North American dates in 2018.
