Sinead O'Connor 'safe and sound' after Facebook suicide note

If you’ve been following Sinead O’Connor on Facebook recently, you’ll be relieved to know that:

Gardaí at Pearse St station have confirmed that singer Sinead O’Connor has been located “safe and sound” and is receiving medical assistance.

Sinead has been posting a series of frantic messages about her family to Facebook over the past week, leaving fans feeling helpless. Earlier today she wrote that she had “taken an overdose”, so it is of course great news that she is safe and no longer alone.
