Sleep at Brooklyn Steel

Sleep began a 2-night Brooklyn Steel run with Dylan Carlson (pics, setlist)

Stoner metal legends Sleep are on tour now in support of The Sciences, their first new album in over 15 years. Last night (7/26), they began a two-night stand at Brooklyn Steel with opener Dylan Carlson (of Earth), and they were bone-crushing as always. The new material blended in seamlessly with the old, and added new life to their live show which had gone mostly unchanged for years until now. Dylan Carlson played completely solo, which he said he really hasn’t done much, and the crowd seemed to love it. Check out pictures of last night in the gallery above and the setlist below.

Sleep and Dylan Carlson do it again at the same venue tonight (7/27), and tonight’s show is sold out.
