Sleep @ Hopscotch 9/7/2013

Metal at Raleigh, NC's Hopscotch Fest wrapped up with a Saturday (9/7) night show at the Lincoln Theater. This one was a doozy, featuring Sleep, Evoken, Inter Arma, and Solar Halos. The reunited version of Sleep is one of the most devastating live bands I've ever seen, and both Inter Arma and Evoken are responsible for excellent albums within the past year.

Speaking of which: Al Cisneros of Sleep released some new drone material on August 20; stream some here. Inter Arma are currently on tour with Woe. And Evoken will hit Saint Vitus with doom greats Esoteric, Saturnalia Temple, and Velnias on October 4.

Check out the Hopscotch pics below.
