Small Circle (mem Sorority Noise) share "Spinning," touring with Remo Drive

Philly’s Small Circle are led by singer Marissa D’elia, and the band also features three members of Sorority Noise (including frontman Cam Boucher). They’re releasing their debut album, Cyclical, on September 8 via Flower Girl Records. The lead single is “Spinning,” and though comparisons to Sorority Noise are tempting since they share three members, Small Circle are really quite different. Marissa D’elia has more of an airy indie pop vibe to her songs, and it’s got this anthemic, uplifting chorus that sounds way bigger than the song’s softer beginning would have you think. The album follows this year’s Melatonin EP. You can listen to “Spinning” and the whole Melatonin EP below.

Small Circle are also going on a short Northeast tour in September with Minnesota emo revivalists Remo Drive and Cleveland’s Front Bottoms-y McCafferty, who both also have new 2017 releases — Greatest Hits and Thanks. Sorry. Sure., respectively (stream both below).

The tour includes a Brooklyn show on September 7 at Knitting Factory (tickets). Remo Drive and McCafferty also have shows together without Small Circle. All dates are listed below.
