Smoking Popes & Chris Farren announce tour
Alt-rock vets Smoking Popes are playing The Fest this year, and they’ve just announced a tour with Chris Farren leading up to it.
The tour includes a NYC show on October 22 at Knitting Factory. Tickets for that show go on sale Wednesday (8/16) at 10 AM. All dates are listed on the tour poster below.
Last year, Smoking Popes’ original lineup released their first new music together since 1998 and it sounds like no time has passed since their classic era. Hear the “Simmer Down” / “Someday I’ll Smile Again” single below.
Chris Farren recently released a new single, “Be There 4 Ya,” which features Jenny Owen Youngs. He made a video for it with OMG LA and you can watch that below.
