Snail Mail expands tour, adds 2nd NYC show with Duster

Snail Mail is continuing to promote last year’s Lush, and has just announced more tour dates, including shows in the Midwest, Southwest, and West Coast for August 2019. She’s also just announced new shows in NYC (Webster Hall on August 1) and Los Angeles (The Wiltern Theatre on August 22) as well. Tickets for Webster Hall, which is with the reunited, influential indie vets Duster and indie newcomer SASAMI (who plays NYC tonight), go on sale Friday, May 3 at 10 AM.

The newly-added Webster Hall show is right after Snail Mail’s previously announced Brooklyn Steel (7/31) show, which is also with Duster (tickets). Those are the only two shows on Snail Mail’s tour with Duster, but as mentioned, Duster also have headlining shows in Cambridge, DC, and Philly that same week. They put out a Numero Group box set earlier this year, and they’ve been promising new music too.

Meanwhile, Snail Mail will also be in the NYC area even sooner, playing Asbury Lanes on May 25 with Long Beard (tickets). Snail Mail wraps up her tour with an appearance at Washington State’s THING, the new festival from the Sasquatch folks. She has other festivals on her schedule, too, including Pitchfork, FORM Arcosanti, and Winnipeg Folk Festival.
