Soccer Mommy and Jay Som opening Paramore tour
Soccer Mommy's Fat Possum debut Clean is one of the most enjoyable indie pop albums of the year, and she continues to tour like crazy in support of it. Having already toured with Phoebe Bridgers, played SXSW, and more, her tour now extends through September and includes headlining shows plus runs opening for Speedy Ortiz, Liz Phair, and, as she excitingly just announced, Paramore!
Soccer Mommy plays headlining NYC shows on May 2 at Elsewhere Hall with Gabe Wax (tickets) and May 4 at Rough Trade with gobbinjr and Long Beard (sold out).
Her run with Liz Phair, which is in support of the upcoming Girly-Sound To Guyville: The 25th Anniversary Boxset, include's Liz's NYC show on June 7 at National Sawdust, which is part of Northside Festival (sold out).
And her run with Paramore, which also includes Foster The People, includes the Brooklyn show June 26 at Barclays Center (tickets). Updated Soccer Mommy dates are listed, with videos for two songs from her new album, below.
Paramore also added another great young indie rock opener, Jay Som, to several of their dates (she opens July 2 - July 24). Jay Som also plays NYC's Panorama.
