A video is making the rounds of Social Distortion singer Mike Ness going into the crowd at a July 19 gig at Sacramento's Ace of Spades to confront a heckler. The video was posted by attendee Heather Scoles, who wrote "Mike Ness jumping into the audience throwing punches and talking shit to some douchebag who deserved it (he got kicked out..is not lawyering up)." It happened during Social D's version of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire," and though the band stops playing as the confrontation happens, you can't really see or hear exactly what happens... just the crowd cheering. Mike Ness eventually gets back on stage and the band finishes the song, and Mike yells "Just stick around buddy, I'm gonna fuck you in the ass later tonight! I'm gonna fuckin' rape you, bitch!" to more cheers from the crowd. You can watch the whole thing go down HERE.

According to SF Gate, the Sacramento Police Department said it is investigating the incident but would not comment further.

Social Distortion have more tour dates coming up, including Asbury Park's Sea.Hear.Now festival on 9/30 and a show at Port Chester, NY's Capitol Theatre on 10/3.
