Sofi de la Torre grew up in Spain and lived in London and Berlin before settling in LA where she currently resides, and though she started out in the Spanish pop scene, her music shows off a strong love of American hip hop and R&B. "In general, I think the music industry in Spain—I’m not such a big fan of it," she told Noisey. A perfect example of her sound is recent single "Run That Back," which is the kind of moody R&B that fans of anything from Anti-era Rihanna to Tinashe to Kehlani to Ella Mai will probably dig. And it's even clearer on the song's brand new remix, which brings in a verse from Atlanta rapper Rich the Kid. Rich sounds right at home over the song's bass-heavy production, and he fits seamlessly into the song without ever stealing the show from Sofi. The remix is officially out tomorrow, but you can hear a stream of it premiering in this post right now.

No tour dates announced for Sofi at the moment, but Rich has some shows coming up, including the Heavy Hitter Concert at NYC's Hulu Theater at MSG on 11/24 with 50 Cent, A$AP Ferg, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Teyana Taylor, and more (tickets).
