Solange was supposed to play the Saturday (8/5) of Montreal festival Osheaga this weekend, but sadly she had to cancel her set. The festival wrote:

It is with regret that OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival has to announce that Solange will not be performing this weekend at the festival, due to unforeseen production issues out of her and the festival’s control.

Solange would like to take this time to send her deepest apologies for the inconvenience and hopes to see her Montreal fans real soon.

It’s a similar reason she gave for cancelling Boston Calling earlier this year. You can check out Osheaga’s updated schedule for Saturday below.

Solange did make it to Pitchfork, FYF, and NYC’s Panorama, where we caught her excellent co-headlining set. She’s also supposed to play Outside Lands next weekend, make two more NYC appearances at Dave Chappelle’s Radio City run on 8/22 and Afropunk Brooklyn on 8/26, and play ACL in October.

It hasn’t been a great week for festival headliners. Queens of the Stone Age had to drop off Outside Lands due to injury, and Lollapalooza was evacuated due to weather last night (8/3) before Lorde or Muse could play.

In other Solange news, she joined Incubus on stage at their recent New Orleans show to sing “Aqueous Transmission” with them (she noted that singer Brandon Boyd was her teenage crush). You can watch a couple videos below.
