Solange released her great When I Get Home back in March, and was supposed to play Coachella but ended up pulling out due to "major production delays." For folks in NYC, though, she has two appearances this week.

The first of those is an edition of the "Devotional Sound" series, which happens at St. Peter's Church on Thursday (5/2) and is presented by British designer Wales Bonner, Serpentine Galleries and Young Turks, in conjunction with the Frieze Art Fair. Also on the bill are Laraaji, Standing on the Corner and "additional special guests who will explore the themes of mysticism, spirituality and ritual established by Wales Bonner's exhibition, A Time for Dreams shown at the Serpentine Galleries earlier this year." The show is sold out but you can join the waiting list.

Then on Sunday, May 4, Solange will host the Performance Space Spring 2019 Gala, which this year celebrates "galvanizing voices in the fight against AIDS." Princess Nokia will perform and tickets start at $122 (and go up to $20,000).
