Annual Los Angeles hardcore festival Sound and Fury announced the lineup for its 2020 edition, which is scheduled for July 11-12 at Ventura County Fairgrounds. It features Absence of Mine, Angel Du$t, Anxious, Fiddlehead, God's Hate, Gulch, Gunn, Jesus Piece, Knocked Loose, Magnitude, Method of Doubt, Never Ending Game, Nothing, One Step Closer, Portrayal of Guilt, Regional Justice Center, Result of Choice, Risk, Slowbleed, Sunami, Superheaven, Touché Amoré, and Wicca Phase Springs Enteral (who is playing the afterparty), with more still to be announced.

With tours, concerts and festivals being cancelled and postponed across the country and world due to the coronavirus pandemic, it may feel like a slightly strange time to be announcing a festival for this summer, but organizers have addressed the possibility of cancellation or postponement in a message on their site. They write:

Due to current world events, we must accept the possibility that we may have to cancel the festival. Things are changing rapidly and it’s impossible to say how the situation will ebb and flow over the next few months. We are 115 days away from July 11, and are hopeful and optimistic that Sound and Fury will go on as planned. But we will take a pragmatic approach to hosting the event. If it’s not conducive to health and happiness, the festival will not happen.

If Sound and Fury is canceled, all weekend passes will be fully refunded. Just to be safe, we recommend you select lodging that allows for cancellation and travel that allows refunds/credits.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will update all of our channels with any major news.

Hopefully things do get better and Sound and Fury does happen, because this lineup is awesome. Weekend passes to Sound and Fury are on sale now.
